He made it!

Elder Rudd made it safely to Chambersburg Pennsylvania. His mission companion is Elder Mouritsen who has only been out in the field for 3 months! Trey said he is awesome and they are a lot alike. Trey said they came across a pretty interesting guy. The guy was telling Trey and his companion that he could see scriptures scrolling across their faces for him to read and that his grandpa was a prophet. Elder Rudd says to tell everybody hello!

12/15/11

Hey everyone! The MTC has been so amazing! It seriously is one of the most amazing places i have ever been to. The spirit is so strong and even being in this environment, I have to constantly strive to keep it with me. My companion's name is Elder Long and he is a pretty good guy. He is struggling with teaching so i do a lot of the talking in investigator discussions but he is getting better. I love teaching the Gospel! Not just because of the fact that i am helping people come closer to Christ, but it is super fun. We have been able to teach a few differnet investigators who were just actors. It was still great practice and the spirit was very strong. I can't imagine not going on a mission and i feel so badly for those who choose not too. I have been here for a week and i already feel it blessing my life in so many ways! I think the next time i am this happy will be when i am being sealed to my eternal companion. I have two other awesome roommates! Elder Zaugg and Elder Anderson. We all have things in common but are very unique. Elder Zaugg is probably the funniest guy in the world! He can imitate the voice of about any movie character! His joker voice is my favorite. Well anyways i report to Pittsburgh on the 26th of December so if you are interested to send a letter, dearelder.com is probably your best bet.
